Sunday 7th March to Saturday 13th March 2010

No Hunter Valley soldier is recorded as dying this week in the Sudan War of 1885.

No Hunter Valley naval reservist is recorded as dying this week in the Chinese Boxer Rebellion of 1900 –1901.

Two Hunter Valley troopers are recorded as dying this week in the South African Boer War of 1899 –1902:

Tpr William Thomas Berriman, Ardglen, 3rd New South Wales Mounted Rifles, 07/03/1902
Tpr Sydney Selwyn Mayo, Raymond Terrace, 2nd New South Wales Mounted Rifles, 11/03/1902

Seven Hunter Valley men are listed as dying this week during the First World War of 1914-1918.

None are recorded as dying this week in 1915; 0 in 1916; 5 in 1917 and 2 in 1918.
