Hullo Yowie and thank you for your inquiry as to where the 19th Infantry Battalion were on 11th November 1916.
From Volume Three of the Official History of Australia in tyhe First World War 1914-1918 the 19th Battalion is recorded as being at Flers.
Is there someone who was killed there of interest to you?

Where exactly is Flers
Is it near Villiers Bretoneux?

Pte David Francis Lonergan, Regimental Number 4162, 10th Reinforcements 19th Infantry Battalion.
22 year old single labourer of Devon Street Wallsend, enlisted 19 August 1915.
Killed in action 11 November 1916.
No known grave.
Commemorated on the Australian National Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux, France.
Flers is on the Somme in France.
May he continue to rest in eternal peace.

It's funny what you can and can't find
D F Lonergan was my fatherin laws uncle
I found about 20 pages on him from all sources
Not alot of info
Yet my grandmothers brother pte Robert Keese Lambert I found over a ream of info which is now cronologically filed and recorded
I also found the original copy (including envelope) of his last letter to my grandmother
go figure
