The following Hunter Valley men died as prisoners of war this week during the Second World War of 1939-1945:

South-West Pacific Prisoners of War:

Gnr John Edwin Brown, 2/15 Field Regiment, 7 Feb 1945
Pte Robert Stanley, 2/10 Field Ambulance, 8 Feb 1945
Pte Victor Maurice Hine, 2/19 Infantry Battalion, 10 Feb 1945

European Prisoners of War:

Nil

May they continue to rest in Eternal Peace.
