"Best We Forget?"

Recent commercialisation of Anzac (against Federal Legistation) by a motel chain, a breakfast food manufacturer, a circus promoter, a football code in 2 countries (owned by Murdoch, advertised by Packer) and a newspaper chain makes me worry.

The fact that 2 former Ministers have refused to enforce the legislation that has existed since the 1920s worries me more.

The fact that the new Minister appears to be going down the same road terrifies me.

It seems that if Kerry Packer or Rupert Murdoch has anything to do with a company that wants to use Anzac as a tool to sell something no one has the moral fortitude to say NO.

If we all keep the apathetic, let someone else worry attitude we currently have we will wake up one day to  "Super U-Beaut Anzac 2nd Hand Car Sales" where dinkum Diggers get great deals, or worse.

Do we really want to say "Best We Forget"?
