It is great to see a new site remembering the legends of the past. Clarrie Jeffries (Capt C S Jeffries VC) was my grandfather's first cousin, and his legend has lived on in the family. In 2002 my family did a 4-day trip with Holts Military Tours (who I can highly recommend -
www.holts.co.uk) around the Somme and Ypres. We gave them advance warning of our family connection, and they were pleased to have us along. We visited Capt Jeffires' grave in Tyne Cot cemetery, and the tour guide told his story to the whole coach group. It is nice to see, after all the years that have passed, that these stories are still told. Best of luck with your new website.
